I have rediscovered Monty Python's Flying Circus. It seems the older I get the more it makes sense and the more I laugh. This is not the fake courtesy laugh or the uptight snicker. No this is the silent gut laughing followed by tears followed by the exclamation of brilliant! Silent because I don't want to explain why I am laughing, always awkward.
People always rave about the Holy Grail, and that's great and all, but the genius really comes out in the 40 minute episodes of Flying Circus insanity. I have learned that you have to give each episode your undivided attention or you miss something and then a joke 5 minutes late won't make sense. to be continued...
